The Upper Room is often blessed to have dedicated and talented interns and students who spend a summer or school semester—or two—working in various areas of our ministry. In the summer of 2015, we had six interns, and we want to publicly say “thank you” to each of them for the work and energy they each brought to our Nashville, Tennessee offices.
Today, we celebrate and thank Vanessa Ramirez!
Vanessa is from the South American country of Colombia, where she grew up in a Cali, known as “the capital of Salsa music” and for its excellent cuisine. Vanessa is studying business administration and marketing. She has spent several months interning with The Upper Room magazine marketing area. Vanessa assists with El Aposento Alto social media and translates for the marketing department. She says this work has been enjoyable, challenging, and helpful for improving her English skills. In late August, she will return to Colombia for her graduation ceremony, after which she hopes to find a job—maybe even as an entrepreneur—in the United States.
THANK YOU—y gracias—VANESSA!
