It’s been many centuries since Paul visited my country. But the needs are the same: people are roaming around from all over the world trying to find a better life. Currently in Athens, we are facing a tremendous challenge as an international refugee highway. We receive more than 5,000 refugees every week. In the midst of that, God’s people are here to serve and share the good news of the Gospel. The Upper Room has been in Athens for more than forty years. And from here, we distribute The Upper Room to many countries with Greek-speaking people.
The Upper Room plays a vital role in providing devotionals every single day for people who show an interest in the Christian faith. The challenge the Apostle Paul faced in Athens remains the same. We want to be agents of hope. This is exactly what Jesus would do.
A gift to The Upper Room International Editions helps distribute and translate the daily devotional guide in 100 countries, in 35 languages. Consider a gift today.
