Over the course of your day, break the ongoing stream of your natural reactions to the world by simply taking a few breaths and noticing them. Breathing is a foundational grounding exercise—one that is foundational to all the practices that follow. Pause and notice your breathing especially when you find yourself particularly triggered in any way.
