Still Thinking about New Year’s Resolutions

Got room for two more New Year’s resolutions on your list?

We are almost halfway through the first month of 2016, but we are still talking about New Year’s resolutions around The Upper Room.

Here’s why . . .

On the 15th of each month, members of The Upper Room Fellowship Circle give small donations—usually between $10 and $50—via an automatic bank withdrawal. These monthly, recurring gifts add up and make a HUGE IMPACT on our ability to help people around the globe experience God and community.

A monthy gift of just $10 becomes a $120 yearly gift, enough to keep the Living Prayer Center phone lines open for almost FIVE hours.

A monthly gift of $20 becomes $240, which could provide EIGHT blind persons a one year subscription of the braille edition of The Upper Room daily devotional guide.

$50 becomes $600, enough to provide FOURTEEN prison or military chaplains a one year supply of daily devotionals for the people they serve. Currently, we are not able to fill all of the requests from chaplains needing copies.

Imagine what your monthly commitment of $10—or any amount as you are able—can do to spiritually nourish this world!

We want you to know that it’s not too late to make two more special New Year’s resolutions:

  1. Commit to PRAY for the work of The Upper Room in 2016.
  2. Become a member of The Upper Room Fellowship Circle. Members of the Fellowship Circle set up monthly automatic bank withdrawals of $10, $25, or other amounts as they are able. These sustaining gifts add up and are increasingly important to our work. Click here to read more and join today.

We can’t thank our donors enough for what they have done to grow and sustain this ministry in the past. Your gifts matter.
