Where will you be July 12–16? Even though it’s less than a month away, it’s not too late to register for The Upper Room’s SOULfeast at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina, located at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
SOULfeast invites you to experience rest and renewal with our morning workshops. The workshops range in topic from “Spiritual Formation and the Christian Ashram” (explore spiritual practices) and “Growing Bolder, Not just Older” (voice your own creativity and identity as you journey through the uncertainties of aging) to “Writers in the Round” (Upper Room authors share excerpts from their books at a special book reading and signing).
Our keynote speaker will be Elaine Heath, and she will teach us how to serve Christ through our daily themes of prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Elaine is the Director of the Missional Wisdom Foundation and McCreless Professor of Evangelism at the Perkins School of Theology. We can’t wait to hear what she has in store for us this year!
There will be time to sing, reflect, pray, and unite in evening worship with Jacob Armstrong as our preacher and Linda Furtado as our worship and arts leader.
If you have not registered or want more information, please visit our SOULfeast website!
